Sparring gloves are required for any tournament. NKF and WKF Events require WKF-certified equipment. Most other events are flexible in the certification, as long as the gloves follow the overall shape/design as shown in the examples below.

WKF Events require WKF-Approved Gloves (Red/Blue). They forbid WUKF logos.
NKF Events require WKF-Approved Gloves (Red/Blue) for Elite only
WUKF Events require WUKF-Approved Gloves (Red/White). They forbid WKF logos but allow Blue-color gloves instead of white.
AAU Events require (Red/White) gloves.

Any local or non-Elite division event does not require (and are flexible) to any WKF, Blank or WUKF approved Gloves, as long as they fit the overall style and color requirement (Red and Blue OR white and blue).

There are many brands that are approved for WKF - so the models here are not the only ones you are allowed to pick.
