Shin Guards

Shin Guards are mandatory for all Official (NKF, WKF, AAU) events. They are optional in some local tournaments.

WKF Events require WKF-Approved Shin Guards (Red/Blue). They forbid WUKF logos.
NKF Events require NKF (White) or WKF-Approved Shin Guards (Red/Blue)
WUKF Events require WUKF-Approved Shin Guards (Red/White). They forbid WKF logos.
AAU Events require WUKF-Approved or Unmarked Shin Guards (Red/White or just White)
Local events usually are flexible as long as the shin guards and instep cover the toes (they are Karate style)

There are many brands that are approved for WKF - so the models here are not the only ones you are allowed to pick.
